3 Day / 2 Night Dumela Tented Camp
Day 1 – Afternoon Sunset Drive at Demula Tented Camp
Arrive at Demula Tented Camp around 14:00 after departing from OR Tambo International Airport. Travel through the scenic Highveld and Lowveld of Mpumalanga on your way.
Take some time to refresh before heading out for an exciting afternoon sunset game drive. This drive will take you through the Blue Canyon Reserve, a part of Greater Kruger, in an open safari vehicle.
Look out for the Big Five – lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes. You’ll also spot other wildlife like giraffes, zebras, and hippos.
End the drive with refreshing sundowners in the bush. Afterward, return to the camp to enjoy dinner around the boma fire, sharing stories about the day’s thrilling adventures.
Day 2 – Full Day Kruger National Park Safari from Demula Tented Camp
Your day at Demula Tented Camp begins with a choice of two options. You may depart early for Kruger National Park, enjoying a bush breakfast along the way, or have breakfast at the lodge first and leave later.
The exact departure time will be shared the night before. This ensures the best possible game viewing based on animal activity.
Your safari in Kruger will last 7 to 8 hours. You’ll explore the Orpen-Satara area, known for its high lion sightings.
Afterward, return to Demula Tented Camp with plenty of time to relax. Enjoy a delicious starlit dinner around the fire to cap off your exciting day.
Day 3 – Departure or Optional Activities at Demula Tented Camp
Start your day at Demula Tented Camp with optional activities before breakfast. Afterward, enjoy a final meal at the camp before saying your goodbyes and heading back to Johannesburg.

You will be picked up from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. From there, you’ll be driven to Demula Tented Camp, where you’ll check in to your glamping site by 14:00.
Take some time to relax and explore the camp’s facilities. At 15:00, head out for a 3-hour open vehicle afternoon game drive in the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon.
During the drive, you’ll have the chance to see iconic wildlife. Afterward, return to Demula Tented Camp around 19:00.
Enjoy a delicious boma fire dinner and a peaceful night under the stars.
Day 2 & 4 – Full-Day Safari into Kruger National Park from Demula Tented Camp
Wake up early and be ready by 05:30 for a full-day safari into Kruger National Park. Your day may proceed in one of two ways: either depart early for Kruger, with a bush breakfast along the route and an earlier return, or have breakfast at the lodge first and leave later.
The exact departure times will be shared the night before. This ensures the best game viewing based on animal activity.
Your safari in Kruger will last 7 to 8 hours. Afterward, return to Demula Tented Camp with enough time to unwind.
Enjoy a delicious dinner by the fire, and end the evening with a peaceful night under the stars.
Day 3 – Panorama Route Tour from Demula Tented Camp
Wake up early for an unforgettable Panorama Route tour, offering a change of scenery to your exciting 5-day safari. The tour takes you along an iconic route, where you’ll see landmarks like Berlin Falls, God’s Window, The Pinnacle, 3 Rondawels, and Blyde River Canyon.
Your day may proceed in one of two ways: you can depart early with breakfast along the route and return earlier, or have breakfast at the lodge first and leave later.
After the tour, return to Demula Tented Camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars to end your memorable day.
Day 5 – Departure from Demula Tented Camp to Johannesburg (OR Tambo Airport)
After breakfast, say your goodbyes and begin your journey back to Johannesburg. You should arrive at OR Tambo International Airport around 17:00 or 18:00.

Guests are collected from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport between 7:00 and 7:30. Collections from any other Johannesburg hotels or addresses are possible at additional rates.

Keep in mind that if you plan to fly out of OR Tambo International Airport on the last day of the safari tour, we recommend booking a domestic flight no earlier than 19:30 and an international flight no earlier than 21:00.
